Welcome to Establish Home of Torung Market — a place where the heart of Thailand meets the warmth of home.

Immy Macintosh, a founder of the restaurant was born and raised in the North Eastern region of Thailand, where she grew up surrounded by the aroma of home-cooked meals and the simple joy of country life. Her love for food began in her grandmother’s kitchen, where she learned to cook using traditional Thai methods and fresh, home-grown ingredients. Every dish she made was full of care, flavour, and love — and those memories still inspire her today.

After moving to Perth, Immy found herself missing the taste of real, home-style Thai food — the kind that brings people together and feels like family. That longing became the inspiration for Est. Home of Torung Market. Immy wanted to share the food she love, made with authentic ingredients, traditional techniques, and a genuine Thai spirit with quality for Australian local produces.

Immy also incredibly grateful for the support of her friends and family who helped make this dream a reality. Every dish we serve is a little piece of home, made with passion and shared with the Perth community.
